Vice-Chancellor Professor DZ Moyo received a Platinum Award of an outstanding Vice-Chancellor at the Zimbabwe’s CEO’s Network Distinguished Academic Leaders of Repute Awards Night held in Harare recently.
She was awarded under the category of exemplary Vice-Chancellor that personifies academic
standards of the highest calibre.
Accepting the award, the Vice-Chancellor appreciated the recognition that was given to the University by the Zimbabwe’s CEO’s Network.
“On behalf of Gwanda State University, we appreciate the recognition of our efforts as we seek to grow and develop the institution and the nation at large”, said the Vice-Chancellor.
The Registrar Mr Erasmus Mupfiga also won an award under the category of the exemplary registrars.
Zimbabwe’s CEO’s Network annually celebrates leadership and strategic vision of CEOs, Institutions and Executives for their vital contributions to the Zimbabwean business and economic space through their eminent leadership qualities seen through their business and the wider society they operate in.
