REGISTRAR’S DEPARTMENT
Examinations Manager (1 Post)
Qualifications and Experience
- Five (5) Ordinary Level passes including English Language.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Administration/Management or Education.
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Administration/Management or Education.
- At least four (4) years post-qualification experience in a University setting of which two (2) years should be in an Examinations Management environment.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure examination policies align with the University’s academic standards and regulatory frameworks.

Manage the examination process and logistics, including scheduling exams, assigning venues, invigilation, distribution of exam materials, and coordinating examination staff.

Put measures in place to prevent malpractice and secure examination material to uphold the integrity of the process.

Offer assistance and guidance to academic staff regarding examination-related issues.

Evaluate examination data to identify trends and areas for improvement and provides recommendations to Registry, Faculty, and University leadership.

Collaborate with external bodies, including regulatory agencies and professional organisations, to ensure the University’s examination processes meet international standards.

Address and resolve examination irregularities and complaints Manage the creation, storage and security of examination papers, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.

Facilitate and coordinate special arrangements for students with disabilities or other needs.

Train invigilators and other staff involved in the examination process.
Occupational Safety Health and Environment Graduate Trainee
To be considered for the Graduate Trainee Post, prospective candidates will undergo an intensive 24-month Graduate Trainee Development program.
Prospective candidates should:
- Not be more than 30 years of age.
- Possess a commendable disciplinary record.
Qualifications and Experience
- Five (5) Ordinary Level passes including English Language.
- BSc Degree in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment.
- Upper second (2.1) class degree or better.

STUDENT AFFAIRS DIVISION
Warden (2 Posts) (1 Male and 1 Female)
Qualifications and Experience
- Five (5) Ordinary Level passes including English Language.
- First Degree
- Master’s Degree
- At least three (3) years’ experience dealing with students at tertiary level.
- A qualification in counseling services will be an added advantage.Attributes
Duties and Responsibilities
- Overseeing the administration of students’ Halls of Residence;
- Ensure that students observe the rules framed for their guidance and maintenance of decorum.
- Available for “on call duty” whenever required, which provides emergency cover in the evenings and weekends.
- Attend to all matters of sickness, sanitation and cleanliness and responding to student halls of residence emergencies such as burst pipes, broken windows, burglars and locked out of rooms etc.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Creating an enabling environment for the achievement of academic excellence, personal growth, group interaction, self-discipline and enable students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds to live together;
- Managing the Halls of Residence efficiently to ensure that the students get high quality residential facilities.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
AGRO INNOVATION HUB AND INDUSTRIAL PARK
Tractor Operator (1Post)
Qualifications and Experience
- Class five (5) driving license.
- Tractor driving permit / certificate will be an added advantage.
- Applicants must have farm experience of not less than three (3) years operating tractor equipment in a crop and livestock farm environment.
Attributes
- Extensive knowledge on tractor operation, daily tractor maintenance and other farming equipment.
- Ability to carry out duties unsupervised, in harsh weather conditions and during outside normal working hours when required.
- Ability to identify and react appropriately to hazards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate tractor plough, disc harrow, mower, baler, boom sprayer, vicon spreader and silage making machine among others.
- Operate tractors to draw implements, move materials, trailers.
- Report any faults or concerns to the farm management.
- Ensure tractors are kept clean, tidy and in good working condition even when not in operation.
- Ensure tractors are given regular or day to day maintenance checks for oil, water, battery, brakes, tyres and tractor repairs are carried out properly.
- Log trips, fuel consumption and oil changes.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the management.
- Operate tractors safely and efficiently.
