Dr Eng. Annatoria Chinyama (MZweIE)

She holds a BSc Hons Degree in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Integrated Water Resources Management both from University of Zimbabwe (UZ) and a Doctor of Technology in Civil Engineering at Tshwane University of Technology in South Africa. Dr. Eng A. Chinyama is a professional civil and water engineer registered with the Engineering Council of Zimbabwe (ECZ) and a member of Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers (ZIE). She is a member of the UNESCO IHP-Zimbabwe National Committee.

The office of the Dean of Studies


The office of the Dean of Studies houses the two Faculties at Gwanda State University, namely Faculty of Engineering and the Environment and Faculty of Life Sciences. The thrust of the office is the advancement of knowledge through teaching, research and learning and the nurturing of the intellectual growth of the students. The academic programmes offered in the faculties focus on specialisations in mining engineering, metallurgy and geomatics and surveying in the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment, and animal and crop sciences in the Faculty of Life Sciences.
